The Chance of risks are very low but must be discussed and include

  1. Incisions/scars
  2. Pain
  3. Bruising
  4. Bleeding haematoma
  5. Swelling
  6. Infection
  7. Continued asymmetry
  8. Functional issues
  9. Dry/Gritty eyes
  10. Need for eye drops
  11. Corneal abraision
  12. Changes in blink reflex
  13. Temporary inability to wear contact lenses
  14. Ectropion
  15. Blindness (exceptionally rare)
  16. Further surgery
